Bush Enjoys Torturing People

Publication time: 21 October 2006, 16:13

Bush defended CIA violent interrogation methods for suspects, accused of involvement in terrorist operations.

According to Xinhua news agency, addressing Republican senators, George Bush said that the U.S. is in a "state of war" and it will do whatever is necessary and therefore the torturing of "terrorist suspects" is vital to make them confess.

Bush approved a "law" on Tuesday, according to which CIA is permitted to continue its interrogations from the "terrorist suspects".

The disclosure of CIA's secret interrogation tools last year caused numerous political controversies in Washington and led to widespread criticisms from the international community, the IRIB reports.
